Independent advice for governments making the move to Government 3.0 and 4.0.

FGI Advisory works with national, state, provincial and local governments on the questions that decide whether reform lands. Is our portfolio moving us forward? What should we do next? Can our leaders carry the change once we've left the room? Every commission is led by senior practitioners and grounded in the FGX standard.

1. Capability Validation Assessment

<aside> 🔍

The question it answers: Is our digital and organisational change portfolio genuinely moving us towards Government 3.0, and what should we prioritise next?

</aside>

For organisations running several large programmes at once (a digital plan, customer experience work, systems renewal, responsible AI) that need to know whether they add up to one operating model or remain separate projects. FGI brings them into a single frame of reference and gives leaders an independent, evidence-based read.

How it runs (around six weeks of active delivery across a ten-to-twelve-week window):

  1. Establish — kick-off, structured FGX self-assessment by nominated leaders, and a refresh of FGI's public-evidence baseline. Where the two views diverge shapes the interviews.
  2. Validate — role-tailored leadership interviews under the Chatham House Rule, review of agreed strategy and planning documents, and evidence calibration.
  3. Prioritise — a facilitated half-day leadership session that sets actions against real change capacity and surfaces the decisions only leaders can make.
  4. Deliver — executive pack, readout and finalisation. If a major decision is coming up, FGI can time an interim view to inform it.
